Seasonal refresh for this floral dresser including another stem bringing the design all the way across the drawer face. Not sure why I didn't do this from the beginning 🤷♀️ but it definitely looks more cohesive this way. Which staging do you like better? Pic 1 or 2? I couldn't decide!

Sneak peek of this cozy little corner and even though it is officially fall, I had to sneak a little pink in since it has been a bit gloomy here the past few days.
I used Midnight Amber Decoupage Tissue Paper and Eclipse Onyx Decor Foil from for this makeover. Have you tried foil before? It's a favorite for me since there is no mess at all. I'll have a poorly performing reel coming soon so stay tuned to see how easy it is to apply 😄
This Johnson Furniture Company desk/vanity is now quite the looker 😍 The body has been refreshed and the top completely stripped and sanded before staining to a beautiful deep rich color complementing and showing off that gorgeous grain. Sealed in a lush satin top coat, this beauty is ready to go!

Before and after! Loving the before and after of this nightstand. I designed this for a soon to be teenager and wanted to make sure it could easily take on a new look when her tastes changed. We cut a piece of wood to fit in the back and used the Midnight Amber decoupage paper for the design. When she wants a new look it can be removed and replaced with a different design or removed entirely and she can enjoy the solid black look 🖤

We left the history and character intact on this piece as we believe this quality vintage beauty has a story to tell. Here at Amini Design Ashburn we understand the desire to have beautiful furniture which serves a much needed function and have lovingly been providing this service for clients across the Washington, DC area and across the country.
Our love for refinishing furniture blossomed out of a desire for me to stay home while my children were little and continue to help support our family. While our children kept me busy at home, I managed to find a few minutes between school drop offs, pick ups, naptime, playtime and my time (usually after 8 pm) to nurture my love of being creative and making things beautiful. Of all things, I chose furniture and am so glad I did! This small business began in 2016 and have enjoyed watching it blossom and grow through the years.
We offer furniture refinishing which means your beautiful end table or buffet that you have lovingly used for the last twenty years can wear a brand new look proudly, or that family heirloom piece that just doesn’t quite fit in with your present decor can enjoy a makeover that fits your style.
